case of the mondays
man, tough day today. We got the lift fixed last night, so I thought we were off to a great start for Monday.
But today was just running around solving little problems here and there, not really getting anything tangible done. Our work flow is incredibly serial right (as Jeff said). If we get held up on 1 thing, everyone stops and waits for that thing to get resolved.
Our fancy chain hoist turned out to be a lot more trouble than we thought. Wrong size, wrong power requirements, no chain bag, late, wrong color. Eesh, the list is long. But, I think we’ve got all these things fixed now.
Tomorrow, we should get the I-beam up, the hoist up, and then we can drop all the cables, test all of the connections, and then we can finally think about hanging some panels!
Katie arrived today to spend the week working with us, so that’s awesome.
someday, there will be something more to show, but for now I leave you with a mental image of a bunch of people standing around talking about wires.
